Please read these terms carefully before using any BossMa product or service. By accessing our services you agree to be bound by these terms.
Last Updated: April 14, 20261. Parties and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Partner", or "Subscriber") and BossMa Studio Works Private Limited (CIN: U62099KA2024PTC215560), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ("BossMa", "Company", "we", "us", "our").
These Terms apply to all use of:
- The website bossma.in and all its subdomains and pages
- NariBot (Paise Ki Saathi) — AI livelihood assistant via IVR, WhatsApp, SMS, and missed call
- NariBot PaaS — Platform-as-a-Service for institutional partners
- NariBot WhatsApp Subscription — direct subscription for individual users
- Any APIs, dashboards, integrations, or related services provided by BossMa
By registering, subscribing, initiating a call, sending a WhatsApp message to NariBot, or clicking "I Agree" on any consent screen, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
If you are a minor (under 18 years of age), you may not use our services. If you are using our services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Services
2.1 NariBot - AI Livelihood Assistant (Free Tier)
NariBot provides voice-first, AI-powered livelihood guidance to rural women in India, accessible via IVR telephone calls, WhatsApp, SMS, and missed call. Core features include: income guidance, pricing support, scheme navigation, Voice-to-Ledger income recording, and NariScore credit-readiness computation. Basic access is free for end users onboarded through institutional partners.
2.2 NariBot WhatsApp Subscription (Paid Tier — Individual)
A direct subscription service allowing individuals (educated women, entrepreneurs, self-help group members) to access NariBot on WhatsApp with enhanced features including personalised income tracking, NariScore reports, scheme alerts, and priority response. Subscription is governed by Section 6 of these Terms.
2.3 NariBot PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service - Institutional)
A white-label or co-branded deployment of the NariBot platform for government bodies (SRLMs, NRLM), NGOs, CSR programmes, MFIs, and banks. Features include: multi-tenant configuration, trainer dashboards, DAR-format exports, Looker Studio analytics, custom language packs, and SLA-backed support. PaaS engagements are governed by a separate Master Services Agreement (MSA) / Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and these Terms, with the MSA taking precedence in case of conflict.
2.4 NariScore
NariScore is a 180-day rolling financial behaviour score generated from NariBot conversation and ledger data. It is an internal indicative metric only and does not constitute a credit score, credit report, or financial advice under the Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005 or any other regulation. BossMa does not guarantee that any lender or financial institution will rely on NariScore in any credit decision.
3. User Obligations and Acceptable Use
You agree to use BossMa services only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information during onboarding or conversations
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the NariBot AI system, prompts, or training data
- Use NariBot to generate, distribute, or promote illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory content
- Attempt to circumvent authentication, access controls, or rate limits on any BossMa system
- Represent NariBot as your own product or resell access without a written PaaS agreement
- Use the platform in a way that interferes with other users' access or degrades system performance
- Share your OTP, login credentials, or account access with unauthorised third parties
- Use the service to solicit, groom, or exploit vulnerable individuals
BossMa reserves the right to suspend or terminate access immediately and without notice for material breach of these obligations.
4. Data, Privacy, and DPDP Compliance
Your use of our services involves the processing of personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:
- You provide explicit, informed consent before your personal data is processed for any purpose
- Conversation data and ledger entries are stored securely on Indian cloud infrastructure
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time
- For PaaS partners, data ownership of end-user data and transcripts vests in BossMa subject to the Data Processing Agreement; NariScore outputs are the intellectual property of BossMa
- We process data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
5. Intellectual Property
All content, software, AI models, brand elements, product names (NariBot, Paise Ki Saathi, NariScore, NariBiz, NariGigs, NariJobs), conversation flows, training data, and related materials are the exclusive intellectual property of BossMa Studio Works Private Limited, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, Trade Marks Act, 1999, and applicable international IP laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our services solely for their intended purpose. This licence does not include any right to:
- Copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works of any BossMa software or content
- Sub-license, sell, resell, or commercially exploit our services without written authorisation
- Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use BossMa brand names or logos without prior written consent
For PaaS partners: IP ownership of platform code, AI models, and NariScore methodology remains with BossMa. Transcript data generated through the partner's deployment is jointly owned as specified in the applicable Data Processing Agreement. Field content and training materials co-created with partners may be jointly owned as agreed in the MSA.
6. Subscription Terms (WhatsApp Subscription — Individual Users)
6.1 Plans and Pricing
Subscription plans, pricing, billing cycles, and included features are as published on bossma.in at the time of subscription. Prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable GST unless otherwise stated.
6.2 Billing and Auto-Renewal
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle as selected
- Auto-renewal is enabled by default; you may disable it at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- Payment is processed via Razorpay or equivalent PCI-DSS compliant gateway; we do not store card details
- Failed payments may result in service suspension after a 3-day grace period
6.3 Free Trial
Where a free trial is offered, it will be clearly stated. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends. You will not be charged during the trial period.
6.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to subscribed features until that date. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
6.5 Price Changes
We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price changes. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
7. PaaS Partner Terms
7.1 Onboarding and Access
PaaS access is granted upon execution of a Master Services Agreement (MSA) or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and payment of applicable fees. Unauthorised access to PaaS infrastructure is strictly prohibited.
7.2 Partner Responsibilities
- Partners are responsible for obtaining valid DPDP-compliant consent from all end users they onboard onto the NariBot platform
- Partners must not solicit or approach BossMa's direct program partners or government contacts acquired through the BossMa relationship for competing purposes during the term and for 12 months after termination
- Partners are responsible for ensuring their field trainers use the platform appropriately and within these Terms
- Partners must report any suspected data breach on the platform to BossMa within 24 hours of discovery
7.3 SLA and Support
Service level commitments, support response times, and maintenance windows are specified in the applicable MSA. In the absence of an MSA, BossMa provides commercially reasonable efforts to maintain 99% monthly uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance.
7.4 Termination
Either party may terminate the PaaS agreement with 60 days' written notice. BossMa may terminate immediately for material breach, non-payment, or conduct that endangers user data or BossMa's reputation. Upon termination, BossMa will provide a data export to the partner within 30 days before purging partner-specific data.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
8.1 No Financial, Legal, or Medical Advice
NariBot provides general livelihood guidance, scheme information, and income tracking support. Nothing communicated by NariBot constitutes financial advice, legal advice, medical advice, or a guarantee of income, credit approval, or scheme eligibility. Always verify scheme eligibility with the relevant government body.
8.2 AI Limitations
NariBot is powered by AI and may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. BossMa does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated response. Users should exercise independent judgment before acting on any guidance provided.
8.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BossMa's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed:
- For individual subscribers: the subscription fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim
- For PaaS partners: the fees paid under the applicable MSA in the 6 months preceding the claim
- For free-tier users: zero (₹0), as the service is provided without charge
BossMa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of income, data, business opportunity, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
8.4 Force Majeure
BossMa shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, telecom network failures, power outages, cyberattacks, or third-party service provider failures (including BHASHINI, Samora AI, or Google Cloud).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BossMa Studio Works Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of our services in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law; (c) your infringement of any third-party rights; or (d) in the case of PaaS partners, any claim by an end user arising from the partner's data collection or consent practices.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the use of BossMa services.
Before initiating legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days. For PaaS partners, unresolved disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement, proceedings conducted in English, seated in Bengaluru.
11. Modifications to These Terms
BossMa may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 14 days' notice via the website, WhatsApp notification (for active subscribers), or email (for PaaS partners). Continued use of our services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree with a change, you must stop using the service and, where applicable, cancel your subscription before the effective date to be eligible for a pro-rata refund.
